This radiator is made of OEM specified Plastic Tank-Aluminum Core construction, and each component is installed, torqued, and tested on the radiator during assembly. The tanks are made from virgin grade engineered plastic resins, which are "glass filled" for added strength and durability. The gaskets are made from special grade "EPDM" rubber to withstand extreme temperatures of up to -120 degrees F. The tubes are welded type or latest generation "B-tube" design, and the fins (heart of the radiator) are high performance "multi-louvered design" as specified by DENSO Auto Parts. Additionally, the radiator is 100% leak tested before leaving the factory at 221-7008 of operating pressure, and is packaged in industry best packaging that has passed the "10 Foot Drop Test" standard. The radiator is a drop-in fit and also has a high performance transmission cooler with special built-in turbulator, when applicable.
